"Brushstrokes Art Parties” was started in 2004 by artist Jill Stephens, with the idea that anyone and everyone can and should enjoy painting for themselves. "Brushstrokes" does this by providing private paint parties for everyone with an emphasis on fun! She decided to share her passion for painting with others through her "Brushstrokes Art Parties" which caters to any event. Paint Parties are ideal for any occasion: birthdays, bridal showers, corporate functions, fundraisers, retirement and graduation parties. For Jill, the key to reaching everyone is clearing up the common misconception that you have to be an artist to be creative. In fact, the less creative you are the more you will enjoy this process.  As your personal artistic motivational coach, Jill will inspire, encourage and guide your guests to add to the canvas. Throughout the event, everyone will add a little bit to the painting and at the end... everyone's "little bit" will add up to be a whole, unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The artist on hand will pull together the finished product touching up the overall composition and the guest of honor will do the honors of signing the piece. Your guests will never forget this uniquely fun interactive creative process!

You do not have to be artistically inclined to participate. Get ready to be inspired!

1. "Brushstrokes" artist will start the painting prior to the event with a chosen theme and color palette. Artist arrives prior to the event to set up easel and paint area. Smocks provided for guests.
2. Throughout the event, everyone will add a little bit to the painting and at the end... everyone's "little bit" will add up to be a whole, unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The artist will guide your guests with suggestions and ideas to help them along.
3. At the end of the event, the artist on hand will put the finishing touches on and “clean up the piece” and “tie” the painting together.
